We are in n Mt. Juliet working on a new construction exterior waterproofing project. This house was initially “waterproofed” by another contractor and had failed. The previous company used tar and sprayed over a poor block job. You can see our guys doing a mortar rub on the walls to seal the poor block job. After that, we will spray apply an asphalt emulsion membrane that will last a lifetime.
Barrier Waterproofing Systems coming to you from Mt Juliet, TN. Plugged downspouts are the start of a majority of water problems in Tennessee homes. We could not find the discharge location for this drain. After shining a light down the aluminum downspout, we could see debris in the downspout. We took it apart and found this problem. We will run new PVC lines and create a permanent discharge point using a pop-up water emitter. Keep your downspouts clean to help protect your foundation.
